Project Leaders 

The success of the Big Day of Service event is largely dependent upon good leaders, clear scope, and well-organized projects. Having one project leader responsible for each project is our way of ensuring that each project is cared for, and the volunteers have a great experience.

Project Approval Steps

  1. Approve Project Leader and match to project
  2. Have Project Leader review & sign Project Leader Expectations form
  3. Work through Project Checklist in-person with Project Leader
  4. Create project on website by submitting through bigdayofservice.com
  5. Set up project with sign-up date in future and publish to site
  6. Gain approval from Project Leader for website listing, then adjust sign-up date  
  7. Publish volunteer sign-up opportunity to Facebook
  8. Begin promoting
